March 8th- International Women's Day
CP Rochester will be celebrating International Women's Day
by holding a peaceful demonstration
5:00-6:00
12 Corners in Brighton (in the center park area).

The theme is Women as Mothers, Sisters, Daughters, and Wives/Widows (of soldiers). All are welcome, so bring friends, kids, and significant others. Please try to arrive early so we can be there for the after-work traffic! AND PLEASE WEAR PINK, as there is nothing quite so visually shocking as a great big sea of pink!

*We need help making signs next weekend in downtown Rochester. Email cboaz@brockport.edu if you are available to help.

March 18th- 3rd Anniversary of the Iraq Invasion CP Rochester will be meeting at the Liberty Pole in downtown Rochester for a demonstration and march at 4pm with several other groups. Wear pink and represent! Bring signs as well.

April 29th
Mass Mobilization by United for Peace and Justice. Mobilizations/marches will be going on around the country, similar to what we saw last September during the 3 Days of Action. I have been talking to the CP NYC coordinator about the East coast groups converging in New York city on that date. I would really like us to send a delegation there on that date! If that doesn't work out, Plan B is to have our own march/rally here in town.

GIFT OF PEACE
The perfect present (especially for mother's day) for the socially-concious friend or loved one who has it all. Please consider donating to CODEPINK in their name-

We'll send you a personalized, pink card of appreciation to give.
